I am a Muslim and I'm not a terrorist.

From the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York to the Madrid and London bombings of 2004 and 2005, the presence of Muslim communities in the West has generated security issues and major political concern. The government, the media, and the general public have raised questions regarding potential links between Western Muslims, radical Islam and terrorism. This speculation has given rise to popular myths concerning the Islamic world and led to a host of illiberal measures such as illegal warranting, denial of Habeas Corpus, "black prisons" and extreme torture throughout the democratic world. This Article challenges the authenticity of these myths and examines the ways in which they have been used to provide an ideological cover for the "war on terror".
                Our religion Islam teaches us a lesson of peace and humanity. According to the saying of our HOLY PROPHET(P.B.U.H): "The Muslim is one who is harmless for other Muslims by his sayings and actions"
Also our HOLY QUR'AN says:"One who saves a single human being, saves a whole humanity".
            Also our glorious history reveals many of examples showing the love and peace for humanity. For example; At the time of Triumph of Makkah THE HOLY PROPHET( P.B.U.H.) forgave all of His enemies including His close relatives who tortured Him a lot.
                  Now a days, a few extremists try to deteriorate the roots of ISLAM. They are not Muslims in real sense. They are KHAWARIJS (Dogs of hell).The Holy Islam denies all of these terrorist elements.
POPE BENEDICT Ideas About ISLAM:
POPE BENEDICT XVI visited the SULTAN AHMAD MOSQUE (THE BLUE MOSQUE) on 30 November 2006 during his way to Turkey. It marks as only the 2nd papal visit in history to a Muslim place of worship. Having removed his shoes. The POPE paused for a ful 2 minutes ,eye closed in silent meditation. Standing side by side with the MUFTI OF ISTANBUL and the IMAM OF BLUE MOSQUE. The POPE "Thanked divine providence for this" and said:May all believers identify themselves with the one God and bear witness to true brotherhood". He also said that the Turkey wil be a bridge of friendship and collaboration between East and west . He thanked the turkish people 4 the cordeality and sympathy.
